Danielle Rubi

Rubi is a photographer, filmmaker, curator and producer. While living abroad in Paris for many years, she curated art exhibitions and founded the award winning food and travel blog, The Trail of Crumbs. She also collaborated with Anthony Bourdain and his production team on many culinary travel documentary programs including “No Reservations” and “Mind of a Chef”, where she was called upon to tap into her personal network to secure unique film locations as well as cast notable chefs and personalities.

Her recent short film, “Prestige Ingredients”, starring Alia Shawkat, showcases the current food scene in Paris within a fictional narrative. The film also features an original music score by Wilco’s Mikael Jorgensen and cinematography by Emmy award winning Ethan Mills. Now based back home in California, she continues to work internationally within the art, music, gastronomy and film community.

Janna Stark

Stark is a designer, writer and trend forecaster. After a successful fashion design career, she transitioned into working as a trend consultant for global Paris based trend agencies, Peclers and Promostyl. Her decade long career consulting and writing about trends has allowed her to insightfully collaborate with major companies, including Disney, Levis, Sanrio, The Gap and Nike. She frequently speaks and presents future trend ideas to small groups as well as large audiences at trade shows across the United States.

Stark recently collaborated on a two year book project, My Tiny Atlas, with the founder of Tiny Atlas Quarterly, a lifestyle travel brand and popular social media community. She also contributes regularly for Meltwater, writing about future insights for the pr and marketing industries. She is ever scanning the socio-cultural landscape to understand the desires and needs of local and global communities.
